Premier League side West Bromwich Albion have confirmed the signing of Nacer Chadli from Tottenham Hotspur for an undisclosed fee.

The 27-year-old has signed a four-year contract with the club and will remain at the Hawthorns until June 2020.

Chadli joined the Lilywhites back in the summer of 2013 from FC Twente and has since managed a total of 119 appearances for the Londoners, scoring 25 goals and setting up 16 more for his team-mates.

The winger becomes manager Tony Pulis' second permanent signing of the summer having completed his medical at Spire Little Aston Hospital earlier today.

Giving his reaction to the signing, the manager said that he has only targeted players he believes will help to improve the quality of his squad and Chadli fits the bill well.

“He’s a top, top player and I’m delighted we’ve got him", Pulis told his club's official website.

“I said last week that these signings all had to be about players who would improve our squad – and Nacer does precisely that.”

Chadli will be given the number 22 shirt at the club, a number he has worn both for his country as well as for Tottenham over the course of the last few years.
