Hugo Lloris has lauded the philosophy Mauricio Pochettino has managed to instil at Tottenham Hotspur since he took charge in 2014.

The Argentine’s philosophy of deploying players in their best positions and creating the crux of the team with the mixture of youthful and experienced individuals have already provided benefits as Spurs managed to achieve their highest finish in the Premier League era by ending the 2015/16 campaign in third spot.

As a result, Tottenham managed to qualify for the group stage of this season’s Champions League for the first time since the 2010/11 campaign.

And Lloris, who insisted that the Tottenham players feel confident under Pochettino’s stewardship as the 44-year-old managed to create a good atmosphere at the club, thinks the manager has a proper philosophy.

“He has a consistent style of management”, the goalkeeper told Spurs TV.
