Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed that skipper Hugo Lloris is fit and will be available for selection against Stoke City.

The north Londoners are set to visit the Britannia Stadium on Saturday to play their fourth match of the league season.

The match will be particularly important for the Argentine manager's team, who have won only one of their three matches, drawing the other two. The return of the French international will help to rejuvenate a squad looking to win and climb up the table.

"Hugo is ready, he’s available to play and now I'll decide. He’s in good condition to travel", Pochettino said via his club's official site.

Left-back Danny Rose though will be missing from action after picking up a hamstring injury during England's match against Slovakia last Sunday.

"Danny feels very disappointed after the game against Slovakia.

"You know, sometimes it happens in football and we hope it’s not a big injury and he can be ready as soon as possible, but he’s out for Saturday."

Another player who will be missing from action against Mark Hughes' team will be midfielder Mousa Dembele, for whom the Stoke match will represent the last match of the six-game suspension he received for his eye gauge on Chelsea striker Diego Costa last season.

"He will be available after this game and it will be good to have him available because he’s a player who can help the team a lot", Pochettino added.
