Fixture: Tottenham Hotspur vs Monaco
Competition: Champions League
Kick-off: 19:45 (UK time)

Tottenham Hotspur have officially confirmed their team and substitutes for this evening's Champions League group stage fixture against Ligue 1 side Monaco.

The match will be played at Wembley, as Spurs are in the process of building a new stadium next to their White Hart Lane home. It also means that the attendance could be a British record for a Champions League fixture.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino will be desperate for his side to start their campaign with a win and he picks Harry Kane to lead the line, with support from Heung-Min Son, Christian Eriksen and Erik Lamela. Dele Alli is also handed a start, while Eric Dier will look to protect the back four.

Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld are the central defensive pairing, while on the bench Pochettino can call for Dutch striker Vincent Janssen if he needs further attacking power. Fellow summer signing Victor Wanyama is also amongst the substitutes.
