Celtic striker Moussa Dembele feels it is a toss-up between Patrick Roberts and himself when it comes to the most skillful individual in the Bhoys squad, but admits that the Manchester City loanee is a more intelligent footballer.

The Scottish champions pulled off a coup this summer when Dembele agreed to move to Glasgow from Fulham despite offers from some of the top sides in the Premier League and Europe.

The youngster, alongside Roberts, provides youthful vigour to Brendan Rodgers’ forward line, and two of them are arguably the most skillful footballers in the Celtic squad.

While he admits that in terms of skills it is hard to choose between Roberts and himself, the Frenchman admits that his Celtic team-mate is the most intelligent footballer in the squad.

On the most skillful player in the team, Dembele told Celtic TV: “Me or Patrick Roberts.”

When asked about the most intelligent footballer at Celtic, the Frenchman said: “Patrick Roberts.”

Roberts, 19, joined Celtic on an 18-month loan from Manchester City in the January transfer window earlier this year, and has been an important player in their squad.

Both Dembele and Roberts will be looking to shine in the Champions League this term.
