Manchester United are set to win the race for young talent Aliou Badara Traore. 

Just 16 years old, the midfielder has been playing his football in the youth ranks at French giants Paris Saint-Germain, where his performances have caught the eye and his potential has been spotted.




A number of big European clubs have been rolling out the red carpet in recent months to attract Traore.

But according to French sports daily L'Equipe, it is Manchester United who have succeeded.
 


The Old Trafford outfit are close to securing the 16-year-old midfielder on a contract running until 2020.

Snapping up the talented youngster will be considered a coup for the Red Devils given the competition for his signature.

Traore has been capped by France at Under-16 level, turning out for the country's youth side on seven occasions.

It appears he will now try to kick on with his career with Manchester United.
