Wolverhampton Wanderers are battling Sunderland and Brighton for the signature of Dutch striker-cum-winger Jurgen Locadia on deadline day.

PSV Eindhoven winger Locadia has caught the eye and is wanted in England before the window slams shut this evening.

Wolves are in the thick of the race for the striker, but face competition from Brighton and Sunderland, according to former Express & Star journalist Tim Nash.

It is claimed that Wolves boss Nuno is a big fan of Locadia and wants him adding to the ranks at the club.

Just 23 years old, Locadia came through the youth ranks at PSV and has represented the Netherlands at various youth levels, up to Under-21s.
