Dundee boss Neil McCann has told Celtic that if they continue in the low bid vein for defender Jack Hendry then they will keep receiving negative messages.
Celtic have made a bid for the 22-year-old in an effort to take him to Parkhead, but their attempt has failed with Dundee feeling the proposal was far too low.
And McCann, who is expecting Celtic to have competition for Henry's signature, says that the Bhoys must drastically up their bid if they want to avoid the same negative response.
"I would think there would be more interest in the player", McCann was quoted as saying by BBC Scotland.
"But clearly they were told it wasn't enough and that will be the message if it continues in that vein", he continued.

"There's been a bid, a low bid, very low, but nothing since."
Hendry only linked up with Dundee in the summer when he made the switch from English club Wigan Athletic and put pen to paper on a two-year deal at Dens Park.
He has clocked up 28 appearances for Dundee and McCann may hope he stays put as the club battle against relegation from the Scottish Premiership.
