Hoffenheim have joined the chase for Tottenham Hotspur linked winger Leonardo Bittencourt, who could leave 1.FC Koln in the summer transfer window.

The 24-year-old winger remains a hot name in the market despite Koln coming to terms with relegation from the Bundesliga at the end of the season.




Premier League outfit Tottenham have been keeping tabs on the and even Ligue 1 giants AS Monaco are considering taking him to France once the window opens in the summer.

Bittencourt also remains a key name on the radar of Bundesliga clubs such as Werder Bremen and RB Leipzig, and according to German magazine Sport Bild, Hoffenheim have joined his long list of suitors.
 


Hoffenheim coach Julian Nagelsmann has already spoken to the winger about a potential summer move and are the club are pushing hard to land him in the summer.

Bittencourt could be available at a bargain price of €8m if Koln are relegated to the second tier of German football thanks to an opt-out clause in his contract.

Once Koln’s relegation is confirmed the chase for the wnger is expected to gather more heat and therefore Nagelsmann and Hoffenheim are trying to get a deal over the line as soon as possible.
