Tottenham Hotspur youngster Harry Winks has expressed his delight with his new deal and is now determined to go forward with a positive frame of mind.

The young midfielder has signed a new contract with the club and will now stay at White Hart Lane at least until the summer of 2023, as he looks to move forward with his career.

The midfielder, a product of Tottenham's academy, enjoyed a breakthrough season in 2016/17 managing a total of 33 appearances in the heart of midfield.

He started the 2017/18 season positively and featured against Real Madrid in the Champions League. His appearances though were curtailed with an ankle injury, which he admits was a setback.

Expressing his delight with the new deal, the midfielder said that it is delightful for him and now he will look to put all the negatives behind him and look to go forward.
