Rangers have confirmed that midfield pair Ryan Jack and Lassana Coulibaly are travelling to Slovenia for Thursday's clash against Maribor.

Steven Gerrard's men are heading to Slovenia with a 3-1 lead over Maribor in the second leg of their Europa League third qualifying round tie.

Gerrard has been hopeful that Jack, who missed the first leg due to concussion, would be fit to travel.

He was also crossing his fingers that Coulibaly, who limped off against St Mirren on Sunday, would also shrug off his own injury concern.

Rangers have now confirmed that both Jack and Coulibaly are part of the travelling squad for Slovenia.

The news is a boost for the Gers' hopes of successfully navigating the tie and progressing further in the Europa League.

Gerrard is desperate for his men to book a spot in the group stage of the competition, which would represent a significant cash boost.

Rivals Celtic are now also in the Europa League after being knocked out of the Champions League by AEK Athens.
