Tottenham Hotspur forward Heung-Min Son has revealed that he wants to maintain his prolific goalscoring record against Borussia Dortmund when Spurs meet them in the Champions League in February.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men are scheduled to face Group A winners Dortmund in February, when the Champions League returns to action with the knockout stages.

Despite only securing their berth in the Round of 16 on matchday six and with a little help from PSV Eindhoven, Spurs will be confident about the prospect of playing the home leg at their new stadium.

However, Dortmund are no pushovers having enjoyed a stellar campaign under Lucien Favre so far this term.

Son, who is no stranger to facing Dortmund after scoring against them for Hamburg, Bayer Leverkusen and Spurs in the past, says that he wants to maintain his goalscoring run in February.

The South Korean also added that there is no secret behind netting eight goals in nine appearances against Dortmund and stressed he needs support from his team-mates to find the net again.

"There’s no secret”, Son told the club’s official website.

"I’ve scored a few times against Dortmund and I just want to help my team-mates again.

“Without my team-mates, I won’t score against them.

"I hope to score again!"

Tottenham will next face Arsenal in the quarter-final of the EFL Cup on Wednesday as they aim to push for their first piece of silverware under Pochettino.
