Rangers centre-back Joe Worrall has revealed that he is happy with his performance in the first half of the season, and is sure he can only get better as a player.

Worrall is currently on a season-long loan spell with Rangers, having joined in the summer from Championship side Nottingham Forest.

The 22-year old has managed to make 11 appearances in the Scottish Premiership this season and helped the Gers beat Celtic in the Old Firm derby just before the winter break.

After a tough beginning at Ibrox, Worrall managed a string of starts for the Gers in October and the England Under-21 international has admitted that the coaching staff have helped him adapt to his new surroundings.

“It was good. I had a few wobbles along the way, didn’t play great in a couple of games but I back myself and just really get my head down and crack on”, Worrall said in an interview with Rangers TV.

“I’m really enjoying it, the lads are great the manager, the coaching staff are helping me and coxing me along.

“I think it’s good.

"I can only get better as a player and as a person as well and try and help other people, so I’m loving it at Rangers"

Worrall will hope to make more appearances for the Gers in the second half of the season as they look to end their long wait for the Scottish Premiership title.
