Tottenham’s new stadium will host its first Champions League game tonight when the two giants of Premier League meet for a place in the last four of the competition.

Spurs are hoping to host an array of top football people for their opening European game at their new stadium and many are expected to be taking in the action.

And according to Football France, the national team’s assistant coach will be at the stadium for the Tottenham and Manchester City showdown for European supremacy.

It remains to be seen what players he will hope to keep tabs on for France’s national squad during the game.

France have continued to ignore Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte and it remains to be seen whether he can convince Stephan to make the senior squad.
