Danjuma joined Villarreal this season from Championship side Bournemouth and has made six appearances for the Spanish side so far, scoring three goals.

The winger’s contract at the La Liga side runs until the end of the 2025/26 season, but Danjuma could be back in England much sooner than that.

Danjuma is preparing to face Manchester United in the Champions League today and his progress is being followed by Liverpool.

The Reds are tracking the winger and monitoring his situation, according to Dutch magazine Voetbal International.

The winger being in action against Manchester United today in the Champions League may provide a good opportunity for the Reds to assess him.

Danjuma has 14 appearances to his name in the Premier League while playing for Bournemouth, though he did not score a goal or provide an assist in those games.

It remains to be seen whether Villarreal will be willing to sell a player that they only bought last year and who has a long-term contract at the club.
