Hart has established himself as the first choice goalkeeper for Ange Postecoglou’s side since joining on a three-year deal from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer.

On Wednesday, the Englishman helped Celtic to their fourth Scottish Premiership win in a row against Hibernian, making two big saves and ensuring a 3-1 victory for his side.

Impressed with Hart’s performance against Hibs, former Celtic defender Wilson has heaped praise on the influence the goalkeeper is having on the Hoops.

Wilson is of the view that Hart was signed by Celtic to be a big influence in the squad and feels he displayed that with his performance against Hibernian.

I think even Joe Hart, you have seen Joe Hart making two really good saves, crucial saves [against Hibernian]“, Wilson said on Clyde 1’s Superscoreboard.

But, that was what was missing last season as well, that’s what he was brought to the club for, to be a big influence.

He is a big name, big pressure on his shoulders and he performed again.

Hart has made 19 appearances across all competitions for Celtic this season, keeping nine clean sheets in the process.
