Manchester City will look to move one step closer to earning qualification to the next round of the Champions League when they face Club Brugge on Wednesday.

While the Belgian Pro League club go into the match on the back of a 2-1 victory over Sint-Truidense, Manchester City will be looking to bounce back from their defeat to Crystal Palace at the weekend.

Looking ahead to Club Brugge’s visit to Manchester City, coach Clement has insisted that he is realistic about his chances against the English champions.

Clement explained that he is aware of Manchester City’s qualities and stressed that their defeat to Crystal Palace does not cast doubts over it.

I am realistic“, Clement told Club Brugge’s official site.

We know our qualities and our flaws.

We will try to cover up our flaws as much as possible and try to show our qualities.

We know how good they are, you don’t have to doubt that after today.

A win against Pep Guardiola’s side on Wednesday would see Club Brugge climb to second in their Champions League group.
