Benson is the big target for Burnley as Vincent Kompany seeks to add more creativity to his squad ahead of Maxwel Cornet’s potential departure.
The Clarets have had failed several bids rejected and it was claimed as recently as Tuesday morning that there is still no agreement between the two clubs.
There were suggestions on Monday night that an agreement was in place on the price between the two sides.
And according to Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Benson is already booked for a medical with Burnley on Wednesday.
The winger is keen on the move and Burnley and Royal Antwerp are said to be finalising the details of their agreement.
Benson is expected to fly out to England on Tuesday evening ahead of the medical on Wednesday with Burnley.
Burnley are pushing to finalise the deal soon and put the winger through a medical before signing him this summer.
