Spurs have had a busy transfer window in terms of signings, but are still on the lookout for further arrivals with a new attacking midfielder on their wish list.

Atalanta’s Malinovskyi has emerged as their top target and they are currently ahead of the likes of Nottingham Forest to land him.

The player is claimed to be keen on a move to north London this summer, while Tottenham are facing competition for his signature from Ligue 1 giants Marseille.

Atalanta have been approached by the French over a player-swap deal for the Ukrainian but a move is yet to materialise, while Tottenham are tipped to enter official negotiations with Italians for him soon.

And according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, Spurs fringe star Reguilon could be included in a deal to sign Malinovskyi, for whom Atalanta are seeking at least €20m.

The Spaniard is not part of Conte’s plans at the club and Tottenham managing director of football Fabio Paratici has been looking into the possibility of facilitating an exit for him.

La Dea coach Gasperini is more than happy to have Reguilon in his ranks this season, which is likely to aid Tottenham in their hopes of landing Malinovskyi.
