Kristensen is one of eight new signings that joined Leeds in the summer as the Whites looked to rebuild following the big departures of Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha.

The Dane is one of the two players Leeds signed from Red Bull Salzburg, alongside Brenden Aaronson, in the last transfer window.

Both players have quickly established themselves in the starting eleven and Kristensen stressed that the new signings have not found it hard to gel with the rest of the players who were already at Leeds.

He pointed out that one of the signs that the new players have fitted in well is that the team have a clear identity on the pitch.

Kristensen said on LUTV: “I feel like things are coming together very quickly.

“I feel like the group that was here before and the players who came in, fit really well together.

“It is clear to see our identity on the pitch.”

Leeds are 12th in the Premier League standings and will be taking an away trip to Selhurst Park on Sunday to take on Crystal Palace.
