Two late winners against Liverpool and Bournemouth have made Summerville the apple in the eyes of Leeds supporters.

The Dutchman has scored three times in the last three league games and has grabbed the opportunity in the absence of the injured Luis Sinisterra.

Jesse Marsch has urged him to continue to focus and apply himself even more in order to continue to improve.

And Summerville has set his sights high at Elland Road and admitted that he wants to become a Leeds legend by the end of his career.

He claimed that is the reason he took Raphinha’s number 10 jersey when he left for Barcelona and believes he has the ability to back his words.

The Leeds winger told Dutch daily De Telegraaf: “I want to become important to Leeds, become a legend there.

“That’s why I got the blessing from Raphinha to take his jersey number.

“Sure [this is ambitious], but I always set the bar high for myself and also have full confidence in myself.”

Summerville wanted to leave Leeds in January this year when he was not getting many opportunities under Marcelo Bielsa.
