The 18-year-old midfielder has come into the Liverpool team during a tricky period and has cemented his place in the starting eleven.
With Liverpool looking for answers in the middle of the park this season, Jurgen Klopp threw the youngster into the team in January and he has started the last four Premier League games for the Reds.
Aldridge conceded that the hype around the Spaniard is real and believes he has been a breath of fresh air in the team due to the passion and commitment he has shown to prove his worth.
He stressed that Bajcetic has almost been like a new signing for Liverpool in January and is certain that the midfielder has a massive long-term future at Anfield.
The former Red wrote in his column for the Liverpool Echo: “Bajcetic, I don’t want to keep going on about him because the hype has been massive.
“But he has been brilliant.
“It’s like a breath of fresh air watching someone run through a brick wall and try to prove to someone how good he is. And it’s like a new signing in the January window.
“He, long-term, could be a very good player.”
The youngster is likely to start when Liverpool host Real Madrid at Anfield tonight in the first leg of their Champions League last 16 tie.
