Last season, Ibanez featured regularly in the starting line-up for the Giallorossi side and helped them reach the Europa League final.

The Brazilian centre-back though is considered a sellable asset by Roma and the club want to bring in money soon.

Roma are willing to part ways with Ibanez in the summer and they want a fee in the region of €20m to €30m.

The Italian outfit’s sporting director Tiago Pinto held discussions with both Tottenham’s and West Ham’s representatives last week in London.

Both clubs remain potential destinations, according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, with Roma looking to sell by the end of this month.

The situation has currently not progressed however, with little sign of an imminent sale, despite Roma’s clear desire.

Now it remains to be seen whether Roma will be able to find suitors who are willing to meet their valuation of Ibanez and whether West Ham or Tottenham make a firm move soon.

If Roma cannot sell him, they will have to turn to other options to bring in cash.
