The 32-year-old goalkeeper is set to leave St. James’ Park this summer and has several suitors who are keen to make sure they secure his services.

Darlow is notably wanted by Bournemouth and Leeds, but the Cherries are the ones who are claimed to be close to signing him.

Newcastle are open to letting the goalkeeper leave and it has been suggested they want £5m.

However, if Bournemouth do sign Darlow then they will not spend £5m to do so, with talk of such a high fee wide of the mark.

It remains to be seen if Bournemouth do capture the goalkeeper and on what terms he arrives on the south coast.

Leeds are keen on adding Darlow but have yet to submit an official bid for the Newcastle star.

And the Whites may not be able to compete with the wages that Premier League side Bournemouth could offer to the goalkeeper.
