Manchester United have thrashed out personal terms on a contract with Hojlund for a potential transfer this summer.

The 20-year-old striker has prioritised moving to Old Trafford despite serious interest from French champions Paris Saint-Germain.

Manchester United made a verbal offer of €60m earlier this week but that was not close to what Atalanta are looking for before agreeing to sell the forward this summer.

And according to Italian broadcaster Sportitalia, Atalanta are expecting an official bid from Manchester United to land on their table by Saturday.

The Serie A club are in a hurry to sell the striker and Gian Piero Gasperini would prefer to move him on by the end of July.

Atalanta want a fee of somewhere around €70m and another €5m in add-ons from the forward’s departure.

Manchester United have decided to prioritise Hojlund over other targets but they have a certain limit to which they want to spend on Dane this summer.

The Premier League giants are hoping to have Hojlund in the squad when the new Premier League season resumes next month.
