The 28-year-old centre-forward joined Cardiff on loan in the second half of the season and helped the Bluebirds avoid relegation with his performances.

In the ongoing window, Kaba is the subject to interest from several Championship outfits in the form of Leeds, Watford and Birmingham City.

Leeds want to add a striker this summer and Kaba is on their wish list, but it was said that the Hornets are leading the race for the centre-forward.

Birmingham also joined the race for Kaba and John Eustace is very keen on adding him to the Blues line-up.

Kaba has entered the final year of his contract with the Danish outfit and it is said that Midtjylland want a fee in the region of £2m for the player.

Now it has been claimed that Birmingham have managed to beat the competition from Leeds and Watford to agree a deal with Midtjylland.

Last season, Kaba scored eight goals for Cardiff City in 17 appearances and he has already netted one goal for the Danish outfit in their Europa Conference League qualifier this season.
