The 29-year-old midfielder joined Nottingham Forest on a free transfer in January and agreed to a three-and-a half year deal.

Scarpa failed to establish himself in the Tricky Trees midfield and only managed to make six appearances.

Nottingham Forest are preparing themselves for a second season in the Premier League and Scarpa is not in Steve Cooper’s plan for this season.

Scarpa is also in favour of exiting this summer and Olympiacos are interested in the 29-year-old.

According to Greek daily Sportime, Nottingham Forest have now agreed a deal with sister club Olympiacos for Scarpa.

And the Brazilian midfielder is set to undergo a medical with the Greek outfit on Thursday before signing a deal with them.

The Tricky Trees signed a host of players last season and they are working on reducing their bloated squad this summer.
