Coutinho has struggled to win over Aston Villa boss Unai Emery and has been widely tipped to move on this summer.

He has been linked with a big money switch to Saudi Arabia, while there is also interest from Turkey.

However, it is Qatari side Al Duhail who are currently pushing hard to sign the former Liverpool man.

Coutinho has given his approval to personal terms with the club but Aston Villa are yet to sanction the move.

Talks are ongoing between the two clubs and Coutinho’s representatives over agreeing on a deal.

The Brazilian has three years left on his Aston Villa contract.

Al Duhail are serious about getting Coutinho and are pressing to get a deal over the line with the Midlands club.

They have until 18th September to get the deal over the line as the transfer window in Qatar will remain open beyond next Friday’s European deadline.
