Vincent Kompany’s side have yet to taste victory in the Premier League and the Belgian believes his side need to add more firepower to their squad.

Burnley are keen on bringing in a centre forward before the end of the window and Fiorentina’s Kouame is on their list.

However, the Clarets are not the only club chasing Kouame’s signature, as French outfit Nantes are also interested in him.

And now, according to French outlet Foot Mercato, Lille have also joined the race to sign the Burnley target.

Kouame has entered the final year of his contract with Fiorentina and the Italian outfit might want to cash in on him this summer.

The 25-year-old played under Burnley boss Kompany in the 2021/22 season at Anderlecht and the player scored 13 times in that campaign.

Now it remains to be seen whether Burnley will be able to beat stiff competition to land the forward this summer.
