Anjorin spent last season on loan at Huddersfield Town and is not part of Chelsea’s plans going forward this season.

Portsmouth have been working on a deal to sign the attacking midfielder on loan for the season.

Talks are still ongoing and Portsmouth are pushing to convince Anjorin to consider a move to play in League One in the ongoing campaign.

It has been claimed that the Pompey remain certain that they will be able to sign Anjorin before Friday’s deadline.

Negotiations are under way between the two clubs and the player’s representatives over a loan move.

Anjorin has played in the Championship during his loan spells but is yet to drop down to League One.

However, Portsmouth remain optimistic of getting a deal over the line with Chelsea and the player in the coming days.
