Anjorin, 21, came through the youth ranks at Chelsea and he earned two caps for England Under-20s.
The attacking midfielder has so far made one senior appearance for the Blues and has been of interest to Portsmouth this summer.
Now John Mousinho’s side are poised to land their attacking midfield target on a short-term loan until January.
With Pompey set to get their target, it is claimed that the League One side’s assistant manager Harley has been crucial in facilitating the coveted deal.
Harley worked with the development side at Chelsea and is well aware of Anjorin.
It is also said that both the Blues and Pompey will assess the deal further in January next year.
Mousinho’s team have witnessed a host of changes at Fratton Park in the ongoing transfer window amid their hopes of securing a promotion this term.
And Anjorin’s inclusion in Pompey’s attacking ranks could be rendered vital for the League One outfit going forward.
Now all eyes will be on the 21-year-old star to see how well he will fare under Mousinho’s tutelage at Fratton Park.
