The Turkish giants are looking to bring in another attacking option and out-of-favour Celtic hitman Ajeti is firmly on their radar.

Trabzonspor believe they can sign Ajeti for a fee of around €1m and have conducted detailed research on the striker.

The club though are leaving the decision on whether or not to proceed in the hands of coach Bjelica, according to Turkish broadcaster A Spor.

The former Real Betis and Las Palmas midfielder will make the final call on whether Trabzonspor try to complete the signing of the Celtic man, or move for another target.

Ajeti spent last season on loan in Austria at Sturm Graz.

The 26-year-old is firmly down the pecking order at Celtic and is expected to leave the club before the transfer window slams shut.

He has a number of possible escape routes from Celtic Park, including other clubs in Turkey, where the window is open until 15th September.
