The 25-year-old is expected to leave PSV this summer and Nottingham Forest have been chasing his signature throughout the summer.

PSV are willing to let the player go and Steve Cooper is pushing for a deal.

It has been suggested the Tricky Trees have agreed a deal with the Dutch outfit, but the arrival of Sangare is dependent on the departure of Brennan Johnson.

There have also been question marks over whether Sangare wants the transfer and, according to Dutch daily the Eindhovens Dagblad, the move is still in doubt.

It is suggested that on Thursday, Nottingham Forest appeared to pull out of the move.

Sangare played a major role in PSV securing a spot in this season’s Champions League and he has already made seven outings for the Dutch outfit this season.

With the clock ticking down on the transfer window it is still not clear if Sangare will be joining Forest.
