Sangare is wanted by Forest, who have been holding talks with PSV Eindhoven to get a deal agreed for the midfielder.

They do have a deal all but agreed with PSV Eindhoven and Sangare is keen to make the move to the City Ground despite suggestions he was unsure about doing so.

Nottingham Forest’s move though depends on selling Johnson to Tottenham.

Spurs are trying to sign Johnson from Forest and it is suggested that they are growing confident about pulling it off.

Selling Johnson would give Nottingham Forest the leeway needed to bring in Sangare.

Sangare has already been in impressive form for PSV Eindhoven so far this season.

Joining Nottingham Forest would see the powerful midfielder turn his back on Champions League group stage football with PSV Eindhoven.
