The Hammers have signed five new players to bolster David Moyes’ options following the big sale of Declan Rice earlier in the transfer window.
Michail Antonio has been heavily linked with a move to Saudi Arabia but he is very much part of the squad still; the Saudi window is not closing tonight though.
West Ham have not been very active on deadline day and the club are not a state of a flurry of activity in terms of incoming transfer business at the moment.
However, a deal to bring in a striker is very much still a possibility for the London Stadium outfit.
West Ham continue to hold an interest in Paris Saint-Germain striker Hugo Ekitike who is coveted by Crystal Palace and Eintracht Frankfurt.
The Frenchman would prefer a move to West Ham if he leaves the Parisians on deadline day.
West Ham technical director Tim Steidten has also been in Brazil where he has been looking at a few strikers.
If the deal is right, there is still a chance of West Ham adding a sixth new face to Moyes’ squad by the end of the night.
