A Harry Maguire goal in the second half was the difference as Manchester United produced a scrappy 1-0 win over Copenhagen in the Champions League.

However, they needed Andre Onana to save a penalty in added time to win the vital three points in their Champions League game.

Jordan Larsson was the Copenhagen player who missed the penalty but Garnacho appeared to have scuffed up the penalty spot before the shot was taken.

Claesson insisted that it was unsporting and dirty play from the Manchester United star but admitted that even his team could have to use such tricks if they are to do better at the Champions League level.

He was quoted as saying by Danish outlet Tipsbladet: “I think that is unsporting.

“If he has done it, he has done it.

“I think it is taking it a bit too far but we can also get better at playing a little dirtier here in the Champions League.”

Manchester United are sitting third in the Champions League and needed the win on Tuesday night.
