The 17-year-old centre-back is a product of the Rochdale academy system and he is highly rated by the club’s coaching staff.

Nevett has turned some heads with his performances this season and represented Wales in the Under-19 European Championship this year.

He made his debut for Rochdale last season in League Two and the club offered him his first professional contract in the summer.

Crystal Palace are keen on bringing the talented defender to Selhurst Park and it is suggested that they are the frontrunners to land him.

However, it has been claimed that Nevett is attracting interest from several Premier League outfits and Crystal Palace are set to face stiff competition for his signature.

The centre-back has featured 19 times for the National League outfit this season and has been a key part of Jim McNulty’s starting line-up.

Nevett has a contract with Rochdale that is set to expire at the end of June 2026 and it remains to be seen whether the Eagles will be able to land the talented youngster.
