Gray has been a revelation for the Championship giants this season, having cemented his place in Daniel Farke’s Leeds side.
He has featured in 20 of Leeds United’s 21 league games and is even filling in as right-back, despite midfield being his preferred position.
Gray was also called up for England’s Elite Squad for their double-header against Italy and Germany last month.
His progress has seen Premier League sides being linked, with Liverpool especially claimed to be keen.
And Liverpool, along with Arsenal, sent scouts to check up on Gray on Tuesday night when Leeds took on Sunderland in the Championship.
Gray played for the full 90 minutes in the match but was unable to prevent his team from losing 1-0.
Leeds will not be keen to lose Gray, but it remains to be seen if a big bid from either Arsenal or Liverpool could change their mind.
