The Dutch midfielder struggled to establish himself at Manchester United since he joined the Red Devils in 2020 from Ajax.

He has been deemed as surplus to requirements at Old Trafford and German club Eintracht Frankfurt are in pole position to secure Van de Beek on a loan deal for the rest of this ongoing season.

It has been suggested that the German outfit are trying to add an option to buy the midfielder at the end of the loan spell and the buy option was believed to be around €15m.

However, according to Sky Deutschland (via Fussball Transfers), the buy option in Van de Beek’s loan deal is set to be below €10m.

Even though other European giants were in the race to secure Van de Beek in January, Eintracht Frankfurt are set to capture the Red Devils out-of-favour midfielder.

Manchester United have even agreed to pay 60 per cent of Van de Beek’s wages throughout the loan spell and it has been suggested that the midfielder will have his medical tests within the next 24 hours.

Erik ten Hag has barely played Van de Beek this season and the midfielder is keen to move as he is looking to play first-team football for the remainder of the campaign.
