Eintracht Frankfurt have a deal in place to sign the midfielder on loan from Manchester United in the January transfer window.
The German club also have an option to make the move permanent for a deal worth up to €15m based on his performances.
He has been on the fringes of the Manchester United squad and he has been allowed to move to Germany early.
It has been claimed that the Dutchman is undergoing a medical in Frankfurt ahead of the loan move.
With a deal in place between the two clubs and the player also keen on the move, Eintracht Frankfurt are looking to wrap up the move soon.
Van de Beek has not played in the Premier League since a two-minute cameo against Crystal Palace in September.
It remains to be seen whether Manchester United allow him to join the Eintracht Frankfurt squad even before the deal becomes official on 1st January.
