Newcastle United do not have any plans to hold a warm weather camp in Saudi Arabia this winter for the moment, according to the Daily Mail.

Eddie Howe’s side have hit a bad patch of form that has seen them plummet down to eighth in the Premier League.

They have lost four of their last five league games, have crashed out of Europe and the EFL Cup before the end of the year.

There were expectations that a warm weather training camp would be held in Saudi Arabia in January like last year.

But it has been claimed that for the moment Newcastle do not have any plans for a Saudi trip.

It is not known whether a warm weather camp will be arranged for the Newcastle squad this winter.

A trip to Saudi Arabia was expected given their ties with the country through their majority ownership but for the moment, nothing has been scheduled.

Howe has also admitted that he is unlikely to have a massive fund to retool his squad in January.

Newcastle are likely to focus on loans and the manager is even open to short-term fixes in the winter window.
