Crystal Palace midfielder Jack Wells-Morrison has emerged as a transfer target for League Two side Doncaster Rovers, who want to sign him on loan in January, according to journalist Alan Nixon.

The 19-year-old has been a member of Palace’s Under-21 team and has played in the Premier League 2 for them.

In eight appearances in the competition, he has found the back of the net four times and has also helped set up one more for his team-mates.

Wells-Morrison is yet to be given his senior debut by Roy Hodgson though, despite being named on the bench a couple of times in the Premier League and once in the FA Cup.

He is now attracting interest from teams in the lower division with Doncaster Rovers being linked with a move.

The club, who have failed to make their mark in League Two this season, are keen to add strength to their squad and have identified Wells-Morrison as a target.

They want to sign Wells-Morrison on a loan until the end of the season.

The teenager is likely to be allowed to go out on loan in search of senior football in the EFL.
