Tottenham Hotspur boss Ange Postecoglou is not expecting any issues in having new boy Radu Dragusin in the squad to face Manchester United on Sunday if all the paperwork is in order.
Dragusin has completed a €30m move to Tottenham from Italian club Genoa on a five-and-a-half-year contract.
The defender rejected an offer from German champions Bayern Munich to move to Tottenham, a decision his agent insisted was a hard one to make.
The Romanian centre-back was Tottenham’s top target and Daniel Levy reportedly worked until the late hours of Tuesday night to convince the player to move to Tottenham.
Dragusin is expected to travel with the Spurs squad for the game against Manchester United on Sunday.
The Tottenham boss is not expecting any paperwork issues in having the new boy in his squad for the trip to Old Trafford.
Postecoglou said in a press conference: “From what I’m told it shouldn’t be a problem.
“If all the relevant paperwork comes through, he’ll be in the squad.”
It remains to be seen whether Dragusin slots straight into the starting eleven if he is all clear to play on Sunday.
