Celtic have received an approach from Italian side Como for the signature of Bhoys talent Rocco Vata, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Vata is a popular player amongst Italian sides and has a host of clubs from the country chasing his signature.
He has been tipped to move on from Celtic during this month’s transfer window and the Bhoys have now been contacted by another interested club.
Italian side Como have approached Celtic to speak about a deal to take Vata to Italy.
Como believe that the fact they can offer Vata the chance to play guaranteed first team football could well sway matters in their favour.
Formal talks between the parties are expected to happen soon.
Unlike a number of Vata’s other suitors, Como play their football in Italy’s second tier, Serie B.
However, they are putting in a strong promotion tilt, currently sitting in third place, and will hope that can help to further appeal to Vata.
