Nottingham Forest will look for a new move for defender Jonathan Panzo this month after recalling him from Cardiff City, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Panzo joined Cardiff on loan last summer, but struggled to command regular game time at the Welsh giants.

The 23-year-old defender made just four appearances for the Bluebirds in the Championship and now Nottingham Forest have taken him back to the City Ground.

Panzo does not look likely to stay at Nottingham Forest however and the club will look for a new move for him this month.

There is interest in the defender from several sides and Panzo’s camp will be determined to get his next switch right.

All parties involved are claimed to be looking for the best solution for Panzo for the second half of the season.

The defender last turned out for Cardiff in the Championship against QPR on New Year’s Day and was booked.

Panzo has turned out for a host of clubs and has played his football in England, Belgium and France.
