Tottenham Hotspur are not prepared to accept any cut price deals for midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, who could yet still stay at Spurs, according to Sky Sports.

Hojbjerg was looking to leave Tottenham during the last summer transfer window, but was unhappy with the proposals on the table.

He stayed put and is drawing interest in this month’s transfer window with Italian sides Juventus and Napoli both firm admirers.

Each would like a loan deal, but Tottenham will not agree unless it contains a mandatory purchase option.

And Tottenham are in no mood to offer any cut price deals on Hojbjerg with the midfielder still having 18 months left on his contract.

Ange Postecoglou’s men are likely to wait until the end of the transfer window before taking a call on the Dane.

When Postecoglou has a fully fit squad, Hojbjerg is down the pecking order.

Tottenham would though want to bring in a replacement for Hojbjerg if he does leave the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this month.
