Leeds United target Bartlomiej Dragowski is closing in on a move to Greek giants Panathinaikos, who have offered him a contract.

The Poland international goalkeeper is on the books at Italian side Spezia, who suffered relegation from Serie A last season.

Dragowski is expected to move on from Spezia this month and Leeds have been linked with wanting to take him to Elland Road, while Hull City have deemed him too expensive.

However, the Whites could miss out on the shot-stopper as Panathinaikos are closing in on him, according to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira.

The Greek giants have offered Dragowski a contract in Athens running until the summer of 2027.

A move to the side sitting in second place in the Greek top flight and in the thick of a title challenge could well appeal to the former Fiorentina man.

Dragowski, 26, has made 13 appearances in Serie B for Spezia so far this season.

He has clocked over 100 appearances in Serie A and now looks set to head away from Italy for the next chapter in his career.
