Serie A giants Lazio are exploring the possibility of signing Tottenham Hotspur winger Bryan Gil on loan this month.

Gil has been on the fringes of the Tottenham squad and has made just two starts in the Premier League this season.

Fiorentina showed an interest in him earlier in the window but decided against trying to sign him.

He is not a major part of Ange Postecoglou’s plans and Tottenham are open to offers for him in the ongoing transfer window.

According to Italian sports daily Corriere dello Sport (via Tutto Mercato), Lazio are considering the potential of signing Gil this month.

The Roman club were interested in the winger last summer as well and are again evaluating his potential arrival.

Maurizio Sarri wants to bring in a winger and Gil is being closely looked at as an option this month.

Spurs are open to letting the Spaniard go out on loan with an option to buy, an arrangement the player would also prefer.

It remains to be seen whether Lazio make a concrete offer to land Gil ahead of the end of the window.
