Middlesbrough are likely to receive a third offer from Aston Villa for Morgan Rogers and Boro are aware that the player wants the move, according to the Daily Mail.

The 21-year-old winger has emerged as a big target for Villa in the ongoing winter transfer window and they have been pushing hard to sign him.

Middlesbrough have already rejected two bids from the Premier League side for Rogers in the current window.

Boro have made it clear that the two bids were nowhere close to matching their valuation of the winger.

It has been claimed that Aston Villa are now plotting to make a third bid for the Boro winger in the coming days.

Emery is now concentrating on preparing his side to take on Chelsea in the FA Cup fourth round on Friday night.

However, the focus will shift to transfers again after the game and Villa are likely to table another bid for Rogers.

And Rogers wants to make the move to Villa Park, with Middlesbrough having been made aware of his wishes.

Boro signed the winger from Manchester City for a fee of £1m last summer and they have an opportunity to turn a major profit by selling him ahead of next week’s transfer deadline.

Manchester City would be due a hefty sell-on if Rogers is moved on and Villa are not prepared to lower their financial demands.
