Brighton and Hove Albion are yet to sell their move to Tottenham Hotspur winger Bryan Gil with time running out, according to The Sun.

Gil is on the fringes at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium having managed just 185 minutes on the pitch for Ange Postecoglou’s side.

Tottenham are prepared to offload him before Thursday’s deadline, though things are yet to be set in motion regarding the loan.

Italian side Lazio have been trying to sign Gil and were tipped to make a move if no club came in looking for the Spaniard.

Brighton have been the late entrants in the race, trying to steal a march over the others.

However, their efforts have hit a roadblock with the player yet to be sold on the loan.

With time running out though, it remains a challenge for the Seagulls to convince the player about the switch.

Gil has a contract with Tottenham running until the summer of 2026.
